JOB SECTION

We’re looking for talented and inspired candidates who are focused on teamwork, task completion, and customer satisfaction.

PURCHASING OFFICER (Ref – PO01)

Buy products that are essential for our company’s day-to-day operations. You will review prices and quality and ensure optimal stock levels. Evaluate vendors, negotiating contracts and preparing reports (e.g. on orders and costs.) For this role, you should have good knowledge of market research, along with solid analytical skills to make sure you’re identifying the most profitable offers. Maintain good relationships with key suppliers to ensure merchandise is high quality and delivered on time.

Requirements:

  • Proven minimum of 3 to 5 years work experience as a Purchasing Officer or similar role.
  • Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).
  • Hands-on experience with purchasing software and good knowledge of database.
  • Understanding of supply chain procedures.
  • Solid analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Holder of a valid driving license.
  • BSc in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field.

ESTIMATOR (Ref – ES03)

Responsibilities:

  • Determine the appropriate technical solution to manufacture and install the sign and materials to be used
  • Read and understand blueprints and drawings to accurately estimate materials and labor
  • Assess cost effectiveness of estimates by tracking actual costs and rates
  • Find new material and service suppliers and learn about new techniques and materials related to this field of industry
  • Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers for materials and services
  • Prepare inquiries to material suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
  • Assist in developing subcontractor solicitation strategies and analyzing bids.
  • Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost effective to produce or purchase components.
  • Coordinate and closely communicate with manufacturing, purchasing, sales and project management representatives.
  • Deliver completed cost estimates within allowable time constraints. Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Evaluate completed projects as benchmarks for future estimates. Work to narrow the difference between budget estimates and actual costs over time.

Requirements:

  • A previous experience as estimator would be an advantage.
  • Signage industry experience preferred and a big plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment; works well under pressure.
  • A positive attitude and professional etiquette in communicating with vendors and coworkers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, a mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, organizational and math skills.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER (Ref – GD06)

Responsibilities:

The Graphic Designer will work closely with the Marketing & Sales team to support creative design and execution of brand messaging, promotional collateral materials & technical design for production. 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of production techniques.
  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
  • High ability to understand/integrate Industrial/Production constraints.
  • Up to date with industry leading software and technologies IS A MUST.
  • 2D & 3D Design.

Draughtsman 2D (Ref – DM07)

Responsibilities:

The Draughtsman will work closely with the Marketing & Sales team to support creative design and execution of technical design for production.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of production techniques.
  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
  • High ability to understand/integrate Industrial/Production constraints.
  • Up to date with industry leading software and technologies IS A MUST.
  • 2D Design.

WORKSHOP MANAGER/SUPERVISOR (Ref – WS09)

This position is very hands on and you need to know how to build things and organise workflow and materials. You will be managing multiple teams of workers in various trades like woodworking, welding, airbrush painting, large format printing, CNC routing, Laser cutting. Excellent team management skills are essential.

You need to be a fast thinker with good problem solving skills and need to share our passion for quality, details, output and finish throughout the workshop.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for job allocation and job flow in the workshop including job scheduling and labour allocation for day to day operations.
  • Co-ordinate resources, (operational and human) schedules and activities to effectively manage jobs.
  • Ensure supplies are ordered for each job.
  • Assist with quoting, project management, materials purchasing and quality checks.
  • Provide oversight and check job estimates.
  • Regularly report progress on each job and quickly communicate delays or concerns with the Director/Project Manager. Report on manpower overruns or shortfalls.
  • Act as a technical adviser on key projects and other areas of the business as requested.
  • Work with the Director/Sales Team/Project Manager to respond to client’s requests for updates on the status of their jobs and keep the communication channels open to ensure information is accurate.
  • Work with the Management & Sales team to investigate customer complaints and concerns arising from products and suggest appropriate solutions. Discuss with team to identify appropriate course of action.
  • Develop and implement systems to record, file and store information pertaining to client enquiries.

Requirements:

  • Proven minimum of 3 to 5 years work as workshop supervisor or similar role.
  • Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of databases.
  • Manage personnel in the workshop.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

CNC MACHINE OPERATOR (Laser, Plasma, Router & Printing) (Ref – CNO11)

CNC Operator should be computer literate, and at ease with Photoshop or Adobe illustrator. Cutting/engraving on acrylic, PVC, wood, metal, aluminum, ACP, copper, stainless steel, etc.

Requirements:

  • Proven minimum of 3 to 5 years work as CNC machine operator.
  • Previous experience with a router and/or engraver is a plus.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Previous CNC programming and operating experience.
  • Technically minded.
  • CAD experience.
  • Read from drawings/plans.
  • Program and operate CNC machine.
  • Certificate of character of less than 6 month.

STOREKEEPER (Ref – ST13)

Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom. Receive, unload, shelve supplies and perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing and labeling supplies. Regular inventory of the store equipment and inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping. Control all stock movements (In and Out).

Requirements:

  • Proven minimum of 3 to 5 years work as storekeeper or similar role.
  • Holder of a valid driving license.
  • Proactive.
  • Good communication skills.

PLANNING COORDINATOR (Ref – PC02)

Assist the Project Manager in all elements of the production from start to finish for each assigned project. Plans and schedules production orders based on established priorities and the availability of required materials and capacity. Coordinate with the manufacturing floor to actively manage the production schedule. Monitors quality, service, and delivery issues and issues corrective actions as needed. Coordinate material delivery with inventory to support manufacturing schedule. May examine material delivered to production to verify conformance to specifications.

Requirements:

  • Proven minimum of 3 to 5 years work experience as a Planning coordinator or similar role.
  • Sign industry and construction industry experience preferred and a big plus.
  • Plans and schedules production orders based on established priorities and the availability of required materials and capacity.
  • Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet date according to sales forecasts and customer orders.
  • Coordinates with the manufacturing floor to actively manage the production schedule.
  • Performs system transactions to report movement of material between manufacturing operations and into finished goods. Monitors daily progress of manufacturing orders. Monitors quality, service, and delivery issues and issues corrective actions as needed.
  • Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedule to meet unforeseen conditions.

SALES ASSISTANT (Ref – SA04)

Sales assistant provides administrative support to Sales Executive/Sales Manager. Responsible for coding all invoices, check requests and purchase orders going out of the department. Ensure that deadlines are respected and high quality of work is done. Maintains online sales file cabinet to ensure all contracts, deposits and credit applications are on file. Present a positive company image through all phases of public and/or customer interaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven minimum of 3 to 5 years work experience as sales coordinator.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Proficiency in English & French.
  • Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field, certification in sales or marketing will be an asset.

MARKETING EXECUTIVE (Ref – ME05)

Responsibilities:

Marketing Executive undertakes marketing projects for the benefit of our company. Organize creative campaigns and promotional events that can make a difference for our company’s success according to trends and customer requirements. Bring forth a strong arsenal of techniques and methods to promote our products, services and public image. Conducting research and analyzing data to identify and define audiences. Manage campaigns on social media.

Requirements:

  • Proven minimum of 3 to 5 years work as marketing executive or similar role
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers.
  • Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns.
  • Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods.
  • Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices.
  • Updating databases and using a customer relationship management (CRM system).
  • Familiarity with social media and web analytics (e.g. WebTrends) 
  • Excellent communication and people skills

ACCOUNTS CLERK & DEBT COLLECTOR (Ref – ACDC08)

We are looking for a reliable Accounts clerk/Debt collector. You will be required to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks. You will as well be responsible for recovering the money owed in as little time as possible.

This position can be challenging and will require to work within tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills and a sense of urgency are extremely useful to succeed in this task.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records.
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements.
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database.
  • Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
  • Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts.
  • Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments.
  • Locate and contact debtors to inquire of their payment status.
  • Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans.
  • Handle questions or complaints.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Create trust relationships with debtors when possible to avoid future issues.
  • Update account status and database regularly.
  • Alert superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary.
  • Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable.

 Requirements:

  • Proven experience as Accounts clerk & Debt collector (minimum 3 years experience).
  • Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal requirements.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and databases.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Apt in negotiating and persuading.
  • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.

MESSENGER/DRIVER (Ref – MD10)

Responsibilities:

  • Driving company’s vehicle (Motorcycle, cars & pick up). 
  • General office duties; open and close office, banking, deliver errands promptly and effectively. 
  • Ensuring regular maintenance of the office vehicle; this will include servicing, cleaning and any other ad hoc maintenance items. 
  • Keeping proper records of mileage, refueling and servicing. 
  • Carry out payments at suppliers and other stakeholders. 
  • Pick up and carry packages as instructed. 
  • Support in purchase of goods as instructed.

Requirements:

  • Hold minimum a School Certificate (SC).
  • Fluent in French and English.
  • Should be punctual, honest and committed.
  • Certificate of character of less than 1 year.
  • Willing to extend working hours on weekdays and weekends as and when required.
  •  Certificate of character of less than 6 month.

SITE SUPERVISOR (Ref – SS12)

We are looking for a qualified site supervisor to manage our team and provide effective guidance. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis. As a team leader, you will be the contact point for all team members, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Decision-making skills.
  • Living in the south region of Mauritius.
  • Holder of a valid driving license.
